Oars

A good oar combines demanding technical properties and a pleasant feel. A good oar is balanced and of the right length. The blade must be light and the handle slightly heavier. The blade of a good oar moves beautifully in the water: it does not splash, bounce or create too much swirl.

77 - Sisukas

Designed to celebrate 50 years of LAHNA oars, the uniquely styled and durable anniversary oar Sisukas is the culmination of years of continuous development. This oar is manufactured from flexible and light spruce and assembled from several parts that are glued together to form a solid piece. Shaped handle, blade reinforced with a wedge. Finished with water-proof varnish.

03 - SeaGrade

A very high-class oar laminated from clean timber for demanding conditions such as sea.
Beautifully-shaped handle and blade reinforced with a wedge. Finished with water-proof special varnish.

04 - SeaGrade Plus

Similar to no. 03 but with a joint. The oar can easily be divided into two parts.
Practical oar for inflatables.

07 - SeaSide

A wooden sea oar laminated from selected, somewhat knotty timber.
Shaped handle, blade reinforced with a wedge. Finished with water-proof special varnish.

08 - FinLake

A traditional Finnish lake oar made of selected, somewhat knotty timber.
The square shaft gives the oar good balance and stability.
Shaped handle, blade reinforced with a wedge. Finished with special varnish.

06 - FinRace K

A light and efficient oar for traditional boats. Made of selected spruce.
The blade is laminated from thin sheets, and has a curved and asymmetrical shape.
The rectangular shaft balances the oar. Finished with special varnish.

43 - Junior

A practical all-round oar for smaller plastic boats.
The shaft is made of durable, varnished wood and the blade is made of strong plastic.
The oar is provided with a drip ring.

A multipurpose oar with a plastic blade which can be exchanged or detached for transport or storage. As an option attachable boathook.
